Zwolf

Today we are going to talk about a little thing called "luck". Those who have good luck don't believe in such a thing, while those who have bad luck are well aware of what it means and it true existence. People who do have the luck expect things to work out for them. The others on the opposite side don't know whats coming and sometimes don't feel its worth the effort. "It probably won't work out anyway." But luck does come in many different forms. You could have a "good day at the races" or just never get sick. Then you could have days where you only get 2-3 off-suite's and cover yourself with almost boiling water(I did this two days ago.) Luck exists whether you want it to or not.
Some say you make your own luck. In some ways yes you can. But overall I do not believe in such talk. As Maryland Lottery says "You can only win if you play" is truth to that. Don't buy a ticket, no winning money. Purchase a ticket and that is luck made. The chances of then winning are slim and luck laughs in your face. You have little control over the luck you receive. It just happens how it is going to happen and you must sit back and wait. If you have one of those lives where nothing ever seems to work out you look directly at luck in the eye. You blame it and flip it a major middle finger. You have no deciding factors, right? Luck has just thrown you a bone. If you seem to coast through life, just happen to always get in the door, luck is probably shining on you. You don't believe luck had anything to do with it, you're that good. Try telling that to the person who worked just as hard as you and never seems to get there.
I knew a couple that played Bingo every week regularly. They went in expecting to win. And they did, a lot. Every week it just seemed to go their way. They made enough to equal a third salary. Bingo. When they didn't hit the were shocked. Luck was on their side(they did have a license plate the said "IRSHLCK"). They were the few with luck that did understand it's reality. I played bingo a little(I had nothing better to do at the time) and won once, maybe.
The cards fall as they may and you play with what you get. Not a 2-3 off-suite night you don't. You get fed up and go to the bar.
